We may obtain information about you in a variety of ways, including through your use of our website(s) & when you call, email or otherwise communicate with us (including through social media), or when you participate in events or other promotions organized by us or in collaboration with any third party.

The information that we collect, whether from you directly or through automated means, may be considered personal information in certain jurisdictions, however, the personal information in this Privacy Policy, means personal information or personal data under the laws of United Arab Emirates.

Information collected from you

The following are examples of the types of information we may collect directly from you in order to provide you with information related to our products or any technical support that you may need:

1. Name: We require your name to personalize your user experience and to respond to your enquiries.
2. Telephone number: We require your phone number to respond to your enquiries related to our products, services or to provide you with technical support.
3. Email address: We use your email address to communicate with you about the products and Services we offer, responding to requests, inquiries, comments, and suggestions

Information collected by automated means ("Automated Information")

We may collect Automated Information through the use of cookies, and other technologies.

Cookies and other User and Ad-Targeting Technologies.

We use cookies and other technologies both to provide our Services to you and to advertise to you. We also may work with partners to help them advertise to you when you visit other websites or mobile applications, and to help them perform user analytics. These technologies may also be used to analyze how our users interact with advertising on our Services and elsewhere, and more generally, to learn more about our users and what services or offers you might prefer to receive. Cookies: To enhance your online experience, we and our partners use "cookies", "web beacons" or other tracking technologies. Cookies are text files placed in your computer's browser to store your preferences. We use cookies or other tracking technologies to understand Service and internet usage and to improve or customize the products, content, offerings, services or advertisements on our Services. For example, we may use cookies to personalize your experience for our Services (e.g., to recognize you by name when you return to a Service), save your password in password-protected areas, and enable you to use shopping carts on our Services. We also may use cookies or other tracking technologies to help us offer you products, content, offerings or services that may be of interest to you and to deliver relevant advertising when you visit this Service, or when you visit other websites or applications. We or a third party platform with whom we work may place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser to enable you to receive customized content, offers, services or advertisements on our Services or other sites. These cookies contain no information intended to identify you personally. The cookies may be associated with de-identified demographic or other data linked to or derived from data you voluntarily have submitted to us (e.g., your email address) that we may share with a service provider solely in hashed, non-human readable form.

We, our third party service providers, advertisers, advertising networks and platforms, agencies, or our partners may also use cookies or other tracking technologies to manage and measure the performance of advertisements displayed on or delivered by or through other networks or Services. This also helps us, our service providers and partners provide more relevant advertising.

Syncing Cookies and Identifiers: We may work with our partners (for instance, third party ad platforms) to synchronize unique, anonymous identifiers (such as those associated with cookies) in order to match our partners' uniquely coded user identifiers to our own. We may do this, for instance, to enhance data points about a particular unique browser or device, and thus enable us or others to send ads that are more relevant, match Users to their likely product interests, or better synchronize, cap, or optimize advertising.

Locally Stored Objects: Our network Services may employ locally stored objects ("LSOs") and other client side storage tracking technologies in certain situations where they help to provide a better user experience, such as to remember settings, preferences and usage similar to browser cookies, or in order to target or help our partners target ads, analyze ad performance, or perform user, website or market analytics. For LSOs utilized by Adobe Flash you can access flash management tools from Adobe's website. In addition, some, but not all browsers, provide the ability to remove LSOs, sometimes within cookie and privacy settings.

Disabling Cookies: Most web browsers are set up to accept cookies. You may be able to set your browser to warn you before accepting certain cookies or to refuse certain cookies. However, if you disable the use of cookies in your web browser, some features of the Services may be difficult to use or inoperable.

We may work with certain third-party companies that use techniques other than HTTP cookies to recognize your computer or device and/or to collect and record information about your web surfing activity, including those integrated with our Services. Please keep in mind that your web browser may not permit you to block the use of these techniques, and those browser settings that block conventional cookies may have no effect on such techniques. Web Beacons: We and our partners may also use "web beacons" or clear GIFs, or similar technologies, which are small pieces of code placed on a Service or in an email, to monitor the behavior and collect data about the visitors viewing a Service or email. For example, web beacons may be used to count the users who visit a web page or to deliver a cookie to the browser of a visitor viewing that Service. Web beacons may also be used to provide information on the effectiveness of our email campaigns (e.g., open rates, clicks, forwards, etc.).

Mobile Device Identifiers and SDKs: We also sometimes use, or partner with publishers, publisher-facing, or app developer platforms that use mobile Software Development Kits ("SDKs"), or use an SDK with a mobile app that we offer, to collect Information, such as mobile identifiers (e.g., IDFAs and Android Advertising IDs), and Information connected to how mobile devices interact with our Services and those using our Services. A mobile SDK is the mobile app version of a web beacon (see "Web Beacons" above). The SDK is a bit of computer code that app developers can include in their apps to enable ads to be shown, data to be collected, and related services or analytics to be performed. We may use this technology to deliver or help our Partners deliver certain advertising through mobile applications and browsers based on information associated with your mobile device. If you'd like to opt-out from having ads tailored to you in this way on your mobile device, please follow the instructions in the "Your Ad Choices" section below.

By visiting the Service, whether as a registered user or otherwise, you acknowledge, and agree that you are giving us your consent to track your activities and your use of the Service through the technologies described above, as well as similar technologies developed in the future, and that we may use such tracking technologies in the emails we send to you.

In addition to cookies, other technologies that we may use include:

1. "Pixel tags" (also known as a "clear GIFs" or "web beacons") which are tiny images (in most cases, typically just one-pixel) that can be placed on a web page or in our electronic communications to you in order to help us measure the effectiveness of our content, for example, by counting the number of individuals who visit us online or verifying whether you've opened one of our e-mails or seen one of our web pages.
2. "HTML5" (the language some websites, such as mobile websites, are coded in) may be used to store information on your computer or device about your website usage activities and to help determine how our Services are being used by our visitors, how the services can be improved and to customize our Services for our users. The above tracking technologies may be deployed by us or our service providers on our behalf. You can find more information on our third-party service providers in Appendix-1 of this Privacy Policy.

Automated Information includes information such as:

1. IP address
2. Operating system used (for example: iOS, Android)
3. Internal resolution of the browser window
4. Device type
5. Country code
6. Identifiers associated with technologies that may uniquely identify your device or browser (e.g., IMEI/UDID and MAC address)
7. Dates and times of access
8. IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers)
9. Subscription information

We or our third-party service providers may assign you a unique identifier through automated means in order to match information collected from you through different means or at different times, (including both personal information and Automated Information) and to use such information as described in this Privacy Policy.

This Automated Information is generally used for the following purposes:

1. for the technical provision of our Services in order to be able to provide you with a functioning user-friendly experience;
2. to provide you with a secure experience and to take measures to protect our website and mobile applications from cyber risks;
3. to uncover insights about your use of our website and mobile applications in order to improve our Services and features, including developing new products and features;
4. to facilitate your access to our website or mobile application;
5. to customize our Services for you;
6. to help us better understand our current and potential customers so that we may market our Services accordingly;
7. events and usage data are captured for our internal business analytics in order to understand how our users interact with our mobile applications and use our services. For example, we may capture when a user visits a screen, taps a button, permits notifications, upgrades, or otherwise interacts with the app; and
8. Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of our communications (including by identifying when emails sent to you have been received and read).

Other tracking technologies

We use clear image files, pixel tags and other similar technology embedded within emails we send to you and on our Platforms. These files are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on your computer’s hard drive, clear images are embedded invisibly on web pages or in emails. We may use clear images (a.k.a. web beacons, web bugs or pixel tags), in connection with the Platforms to, among other things, track the activities of Platform visitors, help us manage content, and compile statistics about usage of the Platforms. We and our third party service providers also use clear images in HTML e‑mails to our customers, to help us track e‑mail response rates, identify when our e‑mails are viewed, and track whether our e‑mails are forwarded.

We use aggregated statistics provided by third party digital platforms about your interaction with us across multiple devices, such as your laptop and mobile, based on your log‑ins into different services offered by these third parties. These statistics help us understand your journey across different devices and personalize the look and feel of our Platforms. These third party digital platforms also allow us to personalize our advertisements to you on your various devices on the basis of your behavior on one or more of your devices where you have logged into the relevant third parties’ services.

We use other aggregated data provided by third party digital platforms including demographic information (such as age and gender) and your interests (such as travel and shopping) derived from your other website usage, together with our own aggregated data about your interactions with us on our Platforms to understand user behavior to improve our Platforms, products and services. We do not disaggregate this data to identify your specific demographic or interest information.

Use of Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the United States. On behalf of the website provider, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore you can prevent Google’s collection and use of data (such as cookies and IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug‑in available under https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/ . Sources of Information and Purposes of Use

This includes information provided by you directly to us or collected by your use of our Platforms. We may obtain information about you (including personal information) from our business partners, such as distributors, and other third parties.

You may choose not to provide some or all of your personal information to us but doing so may prevent us from providing our Services to you or limit our ability to provide you with the level of service that you would otherwise expect from us.

How We May Share Information about You with Others

We may share information about you for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or pursuant to a specific "in-time" privacy notice we may provide at the time we collect the information.

Corporate Affiliates

We share your information within our company and our distributors and partners for legitimate business purposes, including:

1. to assist us in technical processing operations, such as data hosting and maintenance, finance, legal, HR and accounting assistance, securing our data and systems and fighting against spam, abuse, fraud, infringement and other wrongdoings; and
2. for corporate audit, analysis and consolidated reporting as well as compliance with applicable laws.

Third Party Service Providers

We may share information about you with the following categories of third-party providers for a variety of business purposes:

1. Customer Support : When you contact us through one of our support emails indicated in " Contact Us" section at the bottom of this Privacy Policy, your email may be directed to our distributors across all Middle East & North African countries who will have access to your personal information, the content of your email as well as date and time your request came into our system.
2. Other technology providers: These are necessary to provide our services (including cloud storage and web hosting providers). We may use certain Automated Information and/or aggregate or non-personally identifiable information available with us from customer/ third parties for various purposes including monitoring network traffic to detect malicious actors and to protect against malware, fraud or other unlawful uses or activity.
3. Marketing providers: We, or the third-party service providers we use to assist us with marketing our own products to you, may use the information we collect from you to provide advertisements and offers for our other products. Additionally, we may share certain information with Facebook that allows us to create custom or lookalike audiences. You may learn more about Facebook lookalike audiences and about your off-Facebook activity and how to opt out of by having such activity sent to Facebook. We encourage you to review Facebook's Privacy Policy. Additionally, if we may obtain your information through any contest, sweepstakes, event, offering or other promotional activity that is jointly offered by us and any third parties. By entering into such contest or sweepstakes, you authorize and direct us to share your information with our co-sponsor. We may also share your information with a third-party service provider who administers the promotion, event, contest and/or sweepstakes.

Corporate Transactions:

We may share information about you in connection with (including during the evaluation or negotiation of) a corporate change or dissolution, including for example a merger, acquisition, reorganization, consolidation, bankruptcy, liquidation, sale of assets or wind-down of a business (each a "Corporate Transaction"). Unless prohibited by applicable law, we reserve the right to transfer the information we maintain in the event we engage in any Corporate Transaction (including, selling or transferring all or a portion of our business or assets). If we engage in such a sale or transfer, we will, where feasible - direct the recipient to use the information in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. After such a sale or transfer, you may contact the recipient with any inquiries concerning the processing of your personal information.

Legal, Regulatory, Compliance and Similar reasons

In addition, we may disclose and/or share your information to comply with legal or regulatory requirements (including to comply with a court order, judicial subpoena or other subpoena or warrant), industry standards, judicial process, and our company policies, as well as to protect against, identify, investigate, prevent and respond to fraud, illegal activity (such as identifying and responding to incidents of hacking or misuse of our websites and mobile applications), adverse event reporting, and claims and other liabilities.

We also reserve the right to disclose your information (i) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is appropriate or necessary to take precautions against liability, (ii) to protect our rights or property or the legal and property rights of others and (iii) investigate and defend third party claims or allegations against us.

In addition, we may collect, use and disclose your personal information as required or permitted by applicable law, or as directed by you, in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Do Not Track Disclosures

Some web browsers may transmit "do-not-track" signals to the websites with which the user communicates. Because of differences in how web browsers incorporate and activate this feature, it is not always clear whether users intend for these signals to be transmitted, or whether they even are aware of them. Since there is no industry standard concerning what websites should do when they receive such signals, our websites do not currently process or respond to "do-not-track" (DNT) settings in your web browser. If and when a final standard is established and accepted, we will reassess how to respond to these signals.

Certain third parties, such as ad networks, web analytics companies and social media and networking platforms, collect information about your online activities over time and across websites. These third parties may not change their tracking practices in response to DNT settings in your web browser and we do not obligate these parties to honor DNT settings. Information about how to opt out from your data being used by third parties can be found under clause "Information collected by automated means"

Social Media and Other Communications

We maintain a presence on social networking and blogging platforms including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram. We may incorporate some third-party social networking features into our Services (allowing users to interact with others and share content and information on social media platforms) or utilize third-party provided platforms to publish or manage the Services or portions thereof. Through these platforms and features, we receive or may share information about you, and this Privacy Policy applies to that information as well. In addition, some providers of third-party social media or blogging platforms we utilize have their own privacy policies which explain how the third parties that provide them may collect, use and protect your information (e.g., if you establish an account with such platform providers directly). By using social features, you agree to those third parties' privacy policies and terms of use.

If you choose to communicate with us or another user through social features available on our websites or mobile applications or through our social media pages, or other similar communication or messaging features or services, such information may be made publicly available. For security purposes, please do not include any password, social security number, card or other sensitive information via these features. We have the right, but not the obligation to monitor messages and communications between and among users for security and training purposes. We may, but are not obligated to, remove any content we deem inappropriate.

Your rights for the personal data we hold about you

If you wish to change or delete personal information we hold about you, you may contact us at info@dunlop-mea.com or by filling the “Contact Us” form on our website. If we change or delete your personal information or if you decline to actively share certain personal information with us, we may not be able to provide you with our Services. Keep in mind, we may reject request, at our sole discretion, for certain reasons, including if the request is unlawful or if it infringes on the rights and freedoms of another person. For example, we may not be able to accommodate certain requests to object to the processing of personal information, notably where such requests would not allow us to provide our service to you anymore.

For your protection, we may require proof of identity and verification before we can answer the above requests.

Legal basis for processing data

In this section, we have set out the legal grounds on which we rely to process personal information.

In some cases, we have a legitimate interest to process the personal information that we collect, such as to develop, administer and support our products and services; to operate, evaluate and improve our business; to facilitate and manage engagement programs; to promote research; to support our recruitment activities; or to facilitate a Corporate Transaction (including a sale of assets or merger or acquisition).

In other cases, we process personal information to fulfill our contracts with business partners, such as third parties that distribute our products.

It may also be necessary for us to process personal information to establish, exercise or defend against fraud, illegal activity, and claims and other liabilities, including by enforcing the terms and conditions that govern the services we provide.

Our processing of certain information may be necessary to comply with our legal obligations, and for reasons of public interest, such as with respect to adverse event and product safety reporting.

We may also process personal information as specifically permitted by applicable legal requirements.

If we rely on consent for the processing of your personal information, we will seek such consent at the time we collect your personal information.

International data transfers

We may transfer your personal information to countries other than the country in which the data was originally collected for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. For example, if you are located outside of the United States, we may transfer your personal information to the United States. The countries to which we transfer personal information may not have the same data protection laws as in the country in which you initially provided the information. Online Privacy Choices and Rights

Access, Edit and Delete Your Information.

Your rights to edit or delete your information can be found in clause 7 "Your rights for the personal data we hold about you” of this Privacy Policy.

Device permissions

Mobile platforms have permission systems for specific types of device data and notifications, such as camera and microphone as well as push notifications. Where applicable, you can change your settings on your device to either consent or oppose the collection of the corresponding information or the display of the corresponding notifications. Of course, if you do that, certain services may lose full functionality.

Email

If you receive promotional emails from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email. You may also opt-out from receiving promotional email from us, and any other promotional communications that we may send to you from time to time, by sending your request to us by the applicable mobile application support email indicated in the "How to Contact Us" section of this Privacy Policy. Please be aware that if you opt-out of receiving promotional email from us or otherwise modify the nature or frequency of promotional communications you receive from us, it may take up to fifteen business days for us to process your request, and you may continue to receive promotional communications from us that you have opted-out from during that period. Additionally, even after you opt-out from receiving promotional messages from us, you will continue to receive transactional or administrative messages from us regarding the Services.

Location information

If you choose to opt-in, some of our apps may collect your device's precise real-time location, and in such cases, you may be able to opt out from further allowing us to have access to such location data by managing your location preferences in the app and/or on your device.

Marketing Opt-Outs

You may choose whether to receive some interest-based advertising by submitting opt-outs. Some of the advertisers and Service Providers that perform advertising-related services for us and third parties may participate in the Digital Advertising Alliance's ("DAA") Self-Regulatory Program for Online Behavioral Advertising. To learn more about how you can exercise certain choices regarding interest-based advertising, including use of cross-device data for serving ads, visit http://www.aboutads.info for information on the DAA's opt-out program specifically for mobile apps (including use of precise location for third party ads). Some of these companies may also be members of the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI"). To learn more about the NAI and your opt-out options for their members, see http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/. Please be aware that, even if you are able to opt out of certain kinds of interest-based advertising, you may continue to receive other types of ads. Opting out only means that those selected members no longer deliver certain interest-based advertising to you but that does not mean you will no longer receive any targeted content and/or ads (e.g., from other ad networks). Also, if your browsers are configured to reject cookies when you visit these opt-out webpages, or you subsequently erase your cookies, using a different device or web browser or use a non-browser-based method of access (e.g., mobile app), your NAI / DAA browser-based opt-out may not, or may no longer, be effective.

Data Retention

We may retain your personal information for a period as required under the applicable law of United Arab Emirates. However, we may not know if you have stopped using our services, so we encourage you to contact us at the appropriate support email in the "How to Contact Us" section of this Privacy Policy if you are no longer using the services. We may retain other information that is not personally identifiable for backups, archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, analytics, or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so.

How We Protect Personal Information

We apply various measures from time to time to safeguard the security and integrity of your personal information collected through our platforms. Despite these measures, however, we cannot and do not guarantee that information will be absolutely safe from interception or intrusion during transmission or while stored on our system, or otherwise, and you provide information to us at your own risk.

If you correspond with us by email, text message or using web forms like a "contact us" feature available on our platforms, you should be aware that your transmission might not be secure from access by unauthorized parties. We have no liability for disclosure of your information due to errors or unauthorized acts of third parties during or after transmission.

If we believe that the security of your personal information in our care may have been compromised, we may seek to notify you but are not obliged to do so. If we have your email address, we may notify you by email to the most recent email address you have provided us in your account profile but are not obliged to do so.

Links to Websites and Third-Party Content

For your convenience and information, we may provide links to websites and other third-party content that is not owned or operated by us. The websites and third-party content to which we link may have separate privacy notices or policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party entity. Updates to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. When we post changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the date of this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the Services after such date constitutes acceptance of such updates. When required by applicable law, we may inform you by additional means, such as through a notification on the website if we make material changes to how your personal information is collected, accessed or otherwise used as a result of your use of our platforms or if your rights under this Privacy Policy are materially impacted by changes to our privacy practices.
