DUNLOP Becomes Official Tire Partner of Driving Simulator “Gran Turismo™ 7”. Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. (President: Satoru Yamamoto) announced its appointment as the official tire partner of the driving simulator “Gran Turismo 7” for PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5, and the “Gran Turismo World Series” at the event held in Berlin, Germany, on September 20, 2025. This partnership is part of our brand strategy centered on DUNLOP, as outlined in our long-term corporate strategy “R.I.S.E. 2035.” In January 2025, we acquired the DUNLOP trademark and other rights for four-wheel tires in Europe, North America, and Oceania, enabling us to operate our business globally* under the DUNLOP brand. Moving forward, we will work across regions and businesses to further enhance the recognition and maximize the value of the DUNLOP brand. Excluding some regions and products in the tire businessDeveloped by Polyphony Digital Inc., a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc., the Gran Turismo franchise has been a critically acclaimed driving simulator for PlayStation since its debut in 1997 and continues to captivate players worldwide.Starting from Round Two of the 2025 Gran Turismo World Series in Berlin, we will serve as the official tire supplier for the Gran Turismo World Series championship. In a future game update for Gran Turismo 7, the DUNLOP brand will appear in various forms:DUNLOP will be added to “Brand Central” museum, showcasing over 130 years of DUNLOP history, including a variety of products developed with proprietary technologies and our motorsport activities.

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. is pleased to announce that we have begun supplying our high-performance DUNLOP “GRANDTREK AT30” tires to Toyota Motor Corporation for use as factory standard tires on their 2022 model year Land Cruiser Prado, which will go on sale in the Middle East markets.The Land Cruiser Prado is a SUV that combines unparalleled off-road driving performance with outstanding comfort, making it one of the most popular SUV vehicles in the Middle East region.The new Land Cruiser Prado will be outfitted with our high-performance DUNLOP GRANDTREK AT30 with tyre size 265/55R19 109V. GRANDTREK AT30 tires offer superior fuel economy performance and a high level balance of on-road and off-road performance, thanks to its new tread pattern design, tread compound and improved inner construction. Riders Outfitted with DUNLOP Tires crowned Series Champion

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. is pleased to announce that riders outfitted with our high-performance DUNLOP Brand tires won the title of Series Champion in every class (“450SX,” “250SX East,” “250SX West”) at the 2021 AMA Supercross Championship, locking in their victories at the final race of the tournament, which was held this past May 1 at Salt Lake City (USA). This is the twelfth consecutive year in which riders using DUNLOP tires won in every class at the AMA Supercross.In the 450SX Class, Cooper Webb of “Red Bull KTM Factory Racing” was crowned the Series Champion after winning eight of the 17 races in the tournament, including the final race at Salt Lake City. In the 250SX East Class, Colt Nichols of “Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing 250 Team” maintained sure and steady performance throughout the tournament, achieving nine podium finishes in total, which was enough to win him the title of Series Champion. Meanwhile, in the 250SX West Class, Justin Cooper, also of “Monster Energy Star Yamaha Racing 250 Team” placed ninth in the final race of the tournament, but nevertheless went on to win the title of Series Champion for the first time thanks to his commanding lead in overall points going into the final race.One of the leading off-road motocross racing tournaments in America and with fans throughout the world, the AMA Supercross sees riders compete on elaborate technical courses that are specially constructed out of dirt on the grounds of stadiums such as baseball diamonds, etc. As the races take place on challenging courses full of jumps, hoops and tight corners coming one after another, the tournament requires tires that provide consistent high performance when it comes to traction, braking, cornering and more. The fact that riders outfitted with DUNLOP tires have dominated in every class at the AMA Supercross for twelve consecutive years is proof positive of the high overall performance that DUNLOP tires have to offer.  We at Sumitomo Rubber Industries will continue to directly support riders in various riding situations throughout the world by developing and supplying high-performance DUNLOP tires.
